Sanjay is an seasoned senior banker with circa 27 years of experience in banking across South Africa, sub-Saharan Africa, Saudi Arabia and the GCC. Sanjay has spent the last 13 years in Saudi Arabia having held senior roles at Alrajhi Bank and The Saudi Investment Bank where he headed up the respective Structured, Project Finance & Syndication teams. Sanjay held a dual role at Alrajhi Bank where he also headed up the Restructuring team. More recently, Sanjay headed up the Debt Advisory & Debt Restructuring business at Swicorp, and the Investment Banking & Private Equity desk at Saudi Kuwaiti Finance House. Sanjay is a debt specialist and has worked on several high-profile debt transactions (project finance, structured finance, syndications, and real estate development finance) in Saudi Arabia, as well as significant corporate debt restructurings both within Saudi Arabia, and across the GCC Region. Sanjay is a South African national and a qualified Chartered Accountant in South Africa.
